Public Web Services API Directory
Workday offers an open, standards-based SOAP API for programmatic access to our On-Demand Business Management Services. This directory provides the API Documentation for our multitenant SOAP-based web services with corresponding WSDL and XML Schemas (XSDs).

Operation Directory Page for Latest Version (New)
A list of all public web service operations in alphabetical order for the latest version in production. Please use the Find (CTRL+F) capability in browser to search for a particular operation. The last column lists the services to which the operations belong. 

(Preview) Public Web Services API Directory 
This directory provides the API Documentation for our Preview tenants' SOAP-based web services with corresponding WSDL and XML schemas (XSDs).

Preview tenants might contain more than one preview version. Preview versions can change at service updates, so you might need to retrieve the latest WSDL if your use of a production version spans a service update.

Consult the Workday Web Services Version Schedule to find out if a version has changed from preview to production.
