Learn with Workday: An Overview for Customers and Partners

Learn with Workday offers publicly available training on Workday products, with which you can gain practical knowledge and prepare for a career with Workday technology with this program. The Learn with Workday program equips learners at all levels with the Workday technology skills needed to advance and thrive in the modern world of work.

• The Workday Basics Series

  •  A Self-paced, entry-level course that introduces learners to how Workday products and frameworks are configured to meet business needs.
  • Digital badging is available and discoverable on the Workday Talent Directory and LinkedIn.
  • Available through Coursera in over 190+ countries. 

• The Workday in Action Series for Business Users

  • Self-paced, on-demand videos that demonstrate learners how to perform common day-to-day tasks in Workday. The Workday products covered are: Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), Workday Financial Management, Workday Payroll, and Workday Student.

• The Workday Pro Platform Administrator Certification 

  • A self-paced course and companion Workday Pro certification that teaches learners the core skills they need to configure and administer the Workday Platform.  

The Workday Talent Directory showcases Workday-verified professionals—including Workday Pro–certified experts and Learn with Workday credentialed talent who have demonstrated foundational Workday skills. It’s the single destination to discover trusted expertise across the Workday ecosystem.

Although the Workday Basics Series is designed for the public, we provide our customers and partners access to the coursework at no cost within the Workday Learning Center.

The Workday in Action series is also available to all customers and partners at no cost in the Workday Community.

Learn with Workday isn’t intended as a replacement for Customer or Partner training and therefore not included in the Training Catalog.

Learn with Workday doesn’t focus on configuring or deploying Workday products, but rather provides an overview of the Workday ecosystem and introduces essential terminology. The program primarily targets individuals new to the Workday environment, including external learners, career-seekers, and students exploring related paths.

If you’re a customer or partner interested in foundational Workday training, we recommend Getting Started with Workday. This free 7-hour course is designed for individuals who are beginning their Workday journey or those individuals seeking a refresher on core Workday concepts. Before engaging in Workday training, it's recommended to first familiarize yourself with the content covered in this course.
