Requisitions Worklet FAQ
Welcome! This content lists frequently asked questions and answers that we've collected about the Requisitions worklet. The Requisitions worklet enables users to create requisitions more easily, check the status of recent requisitions, and review downstream transactions.
Note: Voice your priorities and use cases for features that Workday Product Management has defined on the Workday Community Ideation Hub.
My Requisitions Report
When you select the new Results in Requisitions Worklet check box on the My Requisitions report, you’ll navigate to the Requisitions worklet.
The Requisitions worklet displays requisitions of which the user is a requester or a creator. This differs from the My Requisitions report, which only displays requisitions of when users are requesters. The Requisitions worklet will only display 100 Open and 100 Completed requisitions meeting your filter criteria. You can use the Edit Filters button to narrow down your results.
When you select this check box, you’re able to see Job Requisitions in the My Requisitions report results. Selecting this check box also enables you to filter on the job profile and position.
You can't use this check box to view job requisitions in the Requisitions Worklet view. You’ll receive this error: To view job requisitions, unselect the Results in Requisitions Worklet check box.

Using the Edit Tenant Setup - Financials task you can select Default Advanced Checkout in the Requisitions Worklet. This will replace the simple checkout.
These use cases will always default to Advanced Checkout:
- Requisition types: Bill Only, Consignment, Procedure Information, Inventory Replenishment, Par Replenishment, Just in Time, Supplier Contract Request
- Requisitions with project-based lines
- Requisitions that have existing line splits
- Your tenant has Default Fulfillment Source to Inventory for Valid Items for Inventory Site selected to Yes on the Requisition Sourcing Rules
Note: The Advanced Checkout is the only option if you opt in to the new Requisition Worklet.
If you create a requisition but don’t add any items to your cart, Workday automatically populates the Requisition Details card with information from your latest requisition at midnight in your local time zone. Workday uses the last requisition that you created in the past 3 months that has a requisition number. If there are items in your cart for a requisition you haven’t submitted yet, Workday doesn't automatically populate the card.

Supplier Contract Request type requisitions will display on the Open tab but won’t display with a timeline. They’ll remain in this tab even after you’ve created the supplier contract for the requisition. To see the contracts created from the requisition, you’ll need to view the requisition and navigate to the Sourced column on the requisition line. If the requisition is closed or denied, the requisition will move to the Completed tab. Enhancements to this feature are being considered for a future release.
These requisitions won't display currently in the Requisitions Worklet view. Your options for viewing them depend on if you are opted into Unified Requisitioning Experience:
- Opted-In: Use the Find Requisitions report.
- Not Opted-In: Use the Find Requisitions or My Requisitions report.
If the logged in user has security access to view the entire supplier invoice, then the invoice number on the timeline will become a clickable link. Clicking on the invoice will open up the full invoice in a separate tab. If the logged in user doesn't have access to view the invoice in detail, Workday only displays the invoice as text.
You can use the Requester field on the Find Requisitions report to filter for requisitions on behalf of another worker. You can also search using the Created By field to view all requisitions a user submitted for themselves or on behalf of others.
No. It’s currently not possible to configure the My Requisitions timeline.
