Access Policies
This main page introduces Workday access policy options that let you decide where Workday teams can access your tenants from so you can align support with your company’s data residency and sovereignty needs:
- European Union Data Access Policy
- Lets eligible European customers keep tenant support within Europe or other EU approved countries.
- Requires opting in through a Customer Care case and signing an addendum.
- Blocks US-based support analysts and developers from accessing your tenants or using copies for troubleshooting.
- U.S. Data Access Policy
- Lets eligible US customers keep tenant support within the United States.
- Requires opting in through a Customer Care case and signing an addendum.
- Blocks support analysts and developers outside the US from accessing your tenants or using copies for troubleshooting.
- EU Sovereign Access Policy
- Available only to customers using the EU Sovereign Cloud SKU.
- Ensures only Workday personnel physically in the EU, resident in the EU, and authorized to work in the EU access the sovereign environment.
- Blocks tenant access and troubleshooting copies from outside the EU, with rare, preapproved temporary exceptions raised through Support Cases.
