Workday provides multiple tools to help you bring in external accounting data and create journals. Below these different features are presented to help you determine the right solution based on your use case, the capabilities and functionalities you require, and the level of detail you want to bring into Workday. Submit or Import Accounting Journal EIB

    • Submit Journal EIB: maximum 1,000 lines per journal
    • Import Journal EIB: recommended 10,000 lines per journal
  • Data Upload Method and File Format
    • Inbound EIB from Web Service operation
    • Must conform to a Web Service template schema

    • Detailed accounting journals using Workday instance values

    • Submit Journal EIB: no suspense accounting and no support for unrestricted intercompany affiliates
