Learn About Rewards and Recognition in the Workday Community

Overview

Workday Community recognition features support richer connections among users, encourage quality over quantity, and celebrate users for their valuable contributions. Features like ranks, badges, and leaderboards help others recognize an expert when they see one!

About Ranks and Badges

Ranks

User ranks are an element in the Workday Community that replaced what we previously called Reputation Points. This feature focuses on rewarding quality over quantity of participation from across a wider variety of actions in the Workday Community. All members in the Workday Community have a rank, starting from when you first sign up! However, not all members stay at the same rank. Users who participate more in the Workday Community, whether through multiple sign-ins, replying to other users’ posts, or providing solutions to issues, will move up the rank ladder as they participate. Earning a higher rank is associated with the quality of your participation in the Workday Community. Make sure that your content is user-friendly and helpful to help you achieve a higher rank!

You can see your own rank by visiting your Profile page, and you can see other users’ ranks just beneath their usernames. You can see an additional label beneath your username - Level 1, Level 2, and so on.

If you have any other questions about ranks, let us know! We’re more than happy to help you understand this great feature!

Badges

We appreciate your participation in the Workday Community so much that we've created a small set of Badges to reward you!

You can earn Badges based on Workday Community participation - the more you participate, the more you earn! They’re available for all sorts of activities: Starting topics, replying to topics, providing Accepted Solutions, reaching Anniversaries, and more.

To view all the badges that you’ve earned, head to your profile and select View All Badges in the right of the blue banner. By selecting a badge, you can find out what milestone you completed to earn that badge. Not only can you view all the badges that you’ve earned, you can check out another user's badges by navigating to their profile.

We really enjoy rewarding activity in the Workday Community and will continue to add more badges as time goes on. We'll add more badges in the future.

Leaderboards

Our Leaderboards within the Collaborate space showcases some of our most engaged members. You can see various leaderboards across Discussion Forums and Contributed Solutions. Each leaderboard showcases a unique group of users who have either provided the most Accepted Solutions (formerly known as Best Answers) or those who have received the most Kudo (Likes) in those specific areas. This helps you recognize experts in their products and provides a little public thank you to our amazing members.
